Haul: 4 Little Treats for the End of January
I've been very good with calming down on my purchases this past month. I really tried my best to hold back on my purchases because I've bought quite a bit these past few months, and I really have so many products I have yet to try and gotten around to trying because of how much new products I have. While this is a nice problem for most makeup junkies, there comes a point where it just feels too much and excessive. I think I kinda felt that way a bit in January, and so, I have not bought much makeup for this month.
The 4 items in this haul are the only new makeup products I bought, and the only reason they were bought in the first place was because I was doing a few returns at Sephora and decided to look around for possible product exchanges. I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to hold out on makeup purchases until the very end of this month. Also, technically, I did not spend anything because what I bought in this haul was an even exchange for the products I returned.
Anyways, this is my mini haul for January:
- Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette - I've wanted this palette since it first came out but just never got lucky with purchasing it before it went out of stock. Finally, I was able to purchase it for its recent re-release!
- Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Trophy Wife - I've been meaning to try her liquid lipstick formulation. My friend told me the other day that some colors were in stock at Sephora. I couldn't help but check these out when I stopped by Sephora to do my returns. Of course I went with a natural mauve color, because it's something that I know I'll wear despite having 10 versions of this color from other brands.
- CoverFx Translucent Setting Powder - Another product that my friend Lindsay kept raving about when it released. She said it made her skin look so smooth, and so I picked it up when I saw it was in stock at Sephora because I knew it was out of stock online.
- Make Up For Ever Liquid Matte in #109 - The only unplanned purchase from this haul. It was displayed right by the Huda Beauty Liquid Lipsticks, and so I decided to pick up one color I liked. This is a tad bit softer than Trophy Wife.
