Champagne Haze: A Neutral and Fresh Makeup Look
Hi everyone! I hope you had a great 4th of July Celebration yesterday. While most of you were probably out watching fireworks and celebrating, a friend of mine came over yesterday for a mini barbecue at our house, and we decided to have an impromptu "photo shoot" for her. I've been wanting to do her makeup for awhile now, and so I was glad that she let me do her makeup yesterday.
My friend, Simi, wanted a makeup that looked neutral and fresh, so I decided on a eye makeup look that is my go-to whenever the person I'm doing makeup on wanted a neutral and fresh look. I call it the champagne haze look. It is a champagne eye makeup look with a hint of smokiness to it which gives definition to the eyes. The great thing about this look, that I really, really love, is that it suits many skin tones/skin color, but still give definition to the eyes while still maintaining that fresh look. I then did some light highlighting and contouring on her face and topped it off with a neutral pink-y peach blush. To finish off the look, I applied a peachy rose lipstick on her lips.
So, unto the products I used for her look:

- Eyeshadows- MAC e/s in All That Glitters for the lids, MAC e/s in Swiss Chocolate for the crease, MAC e/s in Brown Down for the outer v, MAC e/s in Soft Brown for blending, MAC e/s in Naked Lunch for inner corner and MAC e/s in Brule for brow highlight
- Eyeliner- Wet'n'Wild Fergie Black Eyeliner
- Mascara- Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Black
Face
- Foundation/Concealer- Chanel Mat Lumiere in Soft Honey (100), Bobbie Brown Corrector in Dark Peach, YSL Touche Eclat #3

- Cheek Highlight- MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb
Lips

I know a lot of the products I used are pretty high end, but what I love about this look is that the shades I used are pretty replaceable and have a lot of dupes out there. I encourage you guys to shop your makeup stash and use whatever products you have that's pretty close to the shades I used.
I hope you enjoy recreating this look and find this post helpful!
