Inglot Makeup Haul

Inglot looks like a makeup heaven in the middle of Times Square.

Inglot looks like a makeup heaven in the middle of Times Square.

During my last trip to NYC I was able to visit Inglot's flagship store at Times Square. I've always wanted to try out Inglot's products, especially their freedom system which is the name for their palette system. I was always hesitant, however, to order their products online, because I wanted to be able to swatch and get a feel of them before I purchased them. As I've mentioned in my update post, I was able to travel to New York City multiple times in the past few months, however, I've only had the chance to visit Inglot's store a couple weeks ago.

It was a rainy day in NYC, and I definitely almost talked myself out of going, however, I've wanted to try out their products for years now, I know I couldn't just pass up the chance to go this time around. The best part about my visit was probably the fact that I was the only one in the store when I was shopping! Dmitry did such a phenomenal job helping me out, explaining the products to me and also giving me time to play with the products on my own. He was also very genuine with his recommendations and wasn't so pushy with me. I definitely had a good first-time experience in the store!

Before I keep going, I feel the need to disclose that this is simply a quick makeup haul post, and so no in-depth review will be given for any of the products, nor swatches. The Sony camera that I use to take photos is broken and I need to get that fixed, asap. For now, all product photos are taken from my iPhone X.

Anyways, on to the products I ended up getting....

  • First there's the Freedom System Eyeshadows. I ended up getting 15 new colors, that are mostly warm neutrals in different finishes (matte, AMC and pearl).

  • Then, they have Freedom System Contour Powders which I ended up getting 4 shades that run mostly ashy/cool.

  • As I was wrapping up my purchase, I saw this  beautiful Sparkling Dust in 03

  • I also opted to get the Freedom System Flexi Palette to store my new eyeshadows and contour powders from them. I found that the open layout would be a good starter palette to get from their system.

  • And then lastly, Dmitry showed me the new Satin Lipsticks that they just released that they. I am a big fan of satin lipsticks, and so I couldn't help but grab one for myself as well. Below is the LipSatin Lipstick in 31.

As you can tell in the description, the trickiest thing about these products is that they are all numbered instead of have their own names, which can make it hard to remember them. While playing and swatching with the products, one thing I noticed right away is how pigmented and creamy they were. It would be interesting to test out how well they wear throughout the day.  I have not worn the products yet and will definitely post an in-depth review of the eyeshadows and sculpting powders in the future. I am also quite impressed with how well they packaged each product, especially the pans from the Freedom System which are encased in a sealed plastic container. Not only does this keep the integrity of the product, but also protects them from breaking when you travel with them.

I am looking forward to trying out these products and can't wait to report back on them. I am already looking for and researching more shades to try out from their Freedom System and also Inglot's wide range of makeup brushes. Have you tried the Inglot products yet? If yes, let me know below what your favorites are!
